Parking spaces

Espoon Asunnot has different types of parking spaces, which may be located outdoors, in a carport, in a parking garage, or as private garages. You can rent a parking space in your building’s parking area if spaces are available. On this page, you’ll find information about parking space prices, renting a parking space, ending your agreement, and guest parking.

Use of parking spaces

Espoon Asunnot’s rental parking spaces may only be used by residents and commercial tenants who have a valid parking agreement.

In your designated parking space:

  • You may park a registered, insured vehicle that is in regular traffic use. The space is intended for a passenger car, motorcycle, or a similar vehicle.
  • You may not park or store a boat, trailer, camper, caravan, utility trailer, or lorry.

Do not park on access roads or emergency lanes. A vehicle parked incorrectly may block maintenance work or emergency services, such as firefighting.

Parking space prises for residents and commercial tenants

  • Outdoor parking space without a heating post: €15/month
  • Moped parking space: €15/month
  • Outdoor parking space with a heating post: €20/month
  • Parking space in a parking garage: €30–60/month
  • Parking space in a private garage: €100/month

Renting a parking space

Reserve a parking space preferably using the online form.

You can also call our customer service at 09 3544 5000 (Mon–Fri, 09:00–12:00).

You will receive an email once your reservation has been processed. If no parking spaces are available, we will add you to the queue and notify you when one becomes available.

Parking agreement, parking permit and keys

The parking agreement is made only with the main tenant of the apartment.

You will receive confirmation of the parking space by email, along with instructions on how to collect a key or parking permit, if needed. You can also check the pickup location in EAsy, under “My Property & Contact Information”.

Charging points for electric and hybrid cars

Charging electric or hybrid cars using a regular heating post is not allowed.

If you need a charging point for your electric or hybrid car, please fill in the charging request form. Before submitting a request, you must have a rented parking space equipped with a heating post. A charging point cannot be installed in a space without one.

Many of our properties already have charging points installed. If there are available spaces, we can assign one to you. We do not order new charging points until all existing ones are in use.

The charging point has a power output of 1.8 kW, which typically allows for approximately 100 km of range with overnight charging.

In addition to the monthly rent for the parking space, a separate fee is charged for using the charging point. Pricing details are available in the charging request form.

Changing your parking space

If you want to change your parking space, please contact our customer service:

Ending your parking space agreement

If you no longer need your parking space, please end your agreement using the online form. You can also send an email to asiakaspalvelu@espoonasunnot.fi to cancel your parking space.

Once your termination has been processed, you will receive a confirmation by email.

Notice period and invoicing

  • The notice period for ending a parking space agreement is one (1) calendar month.
  • You will be billed for the full calendar month following the termination date.

Returning keys and parking permit

If you have a parking permit, heating post key and/or parking garage key, please return it to key management no later than the last day of your agreement.

You will receive detailed return instructions and contact information in the confirmation message.

Guest parking and parking control

Guest parking spaces are for residents’ guests only

At most of our properties, guest parking is limited to a maximum of four hours, and a parking disc must be used. At some properties, a separate parking permit is required for guests.

If your property does not have guest parking spaces, guests must park on the street or in another public parking area nearby.

Aimo Park is responsible for parking control at all our properties

Aimo Park monitors parking in the parking areas, courtyards, and emergency access roads of our properties. This also applies to unrented parking spaces.

Parking rules specific to each area are indicated on signs and traffic signs in the parking area. Parking that violates the rules may result in a parking fine. Repeated violations or failure to comply with parking terms may lead to the termination of your parking space agreement.

If you notice a vehicle parked incorrectly, you can submit a control request directly to Aimo Park.

Appealing a parking fine

If you have received a parking fine and wish to appeal, you can do so online or by sending a written appeal to:

Winter maintenance and use of heating posts

Keep your parking space clear of snow and ice

If your parking space is outdoors, you are responsible for clearing snow and sanding the space yourself to ensure safe parking.

Remember to clear snow between vehicles as well. If left to compact, snow can turn into ice and become slippery.

Sand is available on the property for residents to use. If it runs out, please contact the maintenance company. You can find the contact details in EAsy.

Use the heating post safely

  • Always unplug the heating cable after use. If left plugged in, the cable can get wet and cause an electric shock. It may also get buried in snow and damaged by snowploughing.
  • Keep the cover of the post locked at all times. This prevents small children from accessing the sockets.
  • Make sure the heating cable is intact. Do not use it if it’s damaged.
  • Do not use extension cords for car heating.
  • If you notice a fault in the heating post, report it to the maintenance company.
  • Heat your car efficiently: 30 minutes is enough in cool weather, and a maximum of 2 hours in very cold weather. Use the post’s timer if available.
  • Charging electric or hybrid vehicles using a regular heating post is strictly prohibited. It may cause a serious short circuit and endanger the property’s entire electrical system.
