Division of responsibilities

The responsibility table on this page shows who is responsible for different maintenance and repair work in Espoon Asunnot apartments and buildings. These include tasks such as clearing snow from parking spaces, bleeding radiators, and cleaning the grease filter in the cooker hood. On this page you will also find the resident invoicing price list. Accordingly, we charge the tenant for the repairs if they break something in the apartment, either intentionally or due to negligence.

Responsibility table

The responsibility table shows who takes care of home maintenance – the maintenance company, Espoon Asunnot, or the tenant. The table also tells who pays for the repair costs.

Please note that the table applies to faults caused by normal use and wear. If you cause the damage intentionally or through negligence or carelessness, you must pay for the repairs yourself.

1 Contact the party responsible for key management in your building. You can find the contact information on EAsy.

2 The security lock and/or chain must be ordered from a specialiced locksmith. When you move out, return the security lock keys. The lock will remain in the apartment without compensation.

Resident invoicing price list

We will charge you according to the resident invoicing price list if you break something in your apartment and the damage is caused by:

  • an intentional act
  • carelessness or
  • neglect.

We will also charge you for cleaning if you move out and leave the apartment in an untidy condition.

The prices are based on average costs, but are subject to change. We may also charge you based on the actual cost.
