Instructions for using the online service

On this page, you will find useful instructions for using the online service. Please note that the same username and password can be used for both services, regardless of whether you have registered as a housing applicant or a resident.

How to register as a user for the online service

When you use the applicant's or resident's online service for the first time

  • select Register for the service (in Finnish: Rekisteröidy palveluun). You will be redirected to use strong authentication using your online banking credentials or Mobile ID. Follow the instructions of the identification service.
  • After identification, enter your email address and a password of your choice. The password must have at least six characters, including at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one number and at least one special character.
  • You will receive an email with a link to activate your username. The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours. The link will redirect you to a page where you can confirm your registration by entering your email address and password.

In the future,  you can log in using your email address, which serves as your username, and the password you created during registration.

Make sure that your application is always up to date

It's natural that your situation and preferences may change after you have submitted the application. 

Instructions after you have logged in

  1. Select the housing application that you wish to modify.
  2. Select ‘Edit application’ (Siirry muokkaamaan hakemusta) at the end of the application summary.
  3. Review the application details and make the necessary changes.
  4. Check your details on the summary page and submit the application.

Whenever you amend your application, its period of validity will be extended by three months. 

You can also withdraw your application in the same service. In this case, your application will cease to be valid immediately. If your housing application expires, you must submit a new application.

As a resident, you can take care of many housing-related matters in EAsy

EAsy is an online service for current residents of Espoon Asunnot. There, you can

  • Update your contact information and add your bank account number
  • View the details and rescue plan of your building
  • Read resident notices
  • View your property's consumption data
  • Submit a fault report and track its progress
  • Fill in the application for apartment alterations
  • Terminate your lease agreement

Issues with using the online service?

Forgotten password

If you forgot your password, you can order a password reset link from the login page. You will receive the password reset link via email. The link is valid for 24 hours. 

The password must have at least six characters, including at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one number and at least one special character.

Your email address changes

If your email address changes and you want it to be your username in our online service, you need to re-register for the service.

Use your new email address when re-registering and create a new password.

The online service does not work properly on your device

If you notice any display issues with the online service, please try another device (for example, a smartphone or tablet) and a different browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox).
