Latokaski
Latokaski is a district surrounded by forests and features mostly detached and terraced houses. The area provides excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation as Espoo Central Park is only a short distance away. In summer, you can visit the park and explore Finnish nature and wildlife; in winter, skiing is very popular; and in autumn, the whole family can visit the forest in all its autumn colours.
The local services include shops, schools, day care centres and a few restaurants. Latokaski is popular among families with children, so your children are sure to have plenty of playmates. Public transport is efficient, and a direct bus line to the centre of Helsinki is available.

Choices that reduce the emissions of living
All our apartments are heated either with renewable district heating or with ground-source heat pumps.
Our district heating is supplied through Fortum Renewable and its origin is verified with guarantees of origin. We have also purchased guarantees of origin for nuclear electricity used in our properties. As a result, the heating of your home and the electricity used in the property generate virtually no fossil greenhouse gas emissions.
Heating is one of the biggest factors affecting the carbon footprint of housing. You can calculate the carbon footprint of your own home using a carbon footprint calculator and enter zero emissions for heating.
The overall environmental impact of housing is also affected by everyday choices. Using water wisely, saving energy and sorting waste are practical ways to further reduce the footprint of your home.
