Rent payment and invoicing

Espoon Asunnot will send you a rent invoice once a year. Paying the rent is easy when you make an e-invoice agreement. Check your own invoices and payments on EAsy. On EAsy, you can also pay invoices related to your rental housing.

Pay your rent by the 4th of each month. If your payment is due on a weekend or bank holiday, pay your rent by the next working day. It is important that you pay your rent by the due date. This way you will avoid payment reminder fees and interest on late payments.

Every year in October, you will receive a rent invoice for the following year. It shows the monthly rent and other charges for your apartment. If you have a parking space or sauna booking, you will also find the fees for these on your rent invoice.

In most of our apartments, water is included in the rent. In some new and renovated buildings, we charge water according to consumption. In this case, you will receive a water bill once a month.

Residents’ online service EAsy

Keep track of your payments and pay your invoices on EAsy

You have access to the residents’ online service EAsy, where you can find plenty of useful information related to your housing.

EAsy also contains information about invoices and payments. You should regularly check the status of your own payments in the “My Finances & agreements” section on EAsy.

In the same section, you can also pay all the invoices related to your rental housing. In addition to the rent, these include, for example, interest invoices and door opening fees. When paying invoices on EAsy, it is a good idea to pay all bills at once.

Pay your rent with the e-invoice

E-invoice is an easy way to pay rent

An e-invoice is easy to use. The invoice is delivered directly to your online bank. All the payment details will be readily available on your e-invoice. So there is no risk of typing errors.

If you choose automatic payment, your rent will be paid from your account on the due date so that you will not forget to pay it. You just need to make sure that you have enough money in your account on the due date.

Getting started with the e-invoice

Log in to your online bank. Go to “e-invoices” and select “Espoon Asunnot Oy” as your invoicer. Once you accept the agreement, you will receive the invoices directly to your online bank.

You can choose from the following options:

  • Your account will be charged after you confirm the payment.
  • The payment will be automatically debited from your account on the due date.

More detailed instructions on the activation of the e-invoice can be found on your bank’s website.

The e-invoice does not take effect immediately. If you have activated the e-invoice before the 15th of the month, your next month’s rent will be charged as an e-invoice. However, check your online bank that the first payment has been made.

You can also order your rent invoice as an e-invoice if you receive housing allowance or social assistance and Kela pays it directly to Espoon Asunnot. However, remember to change the amount to be paid on the e-invoice in your online bank every month. Adjust the amount according to the share of the rent that remains to be paid by you after Kela’s benefits.
