Where there is food, there are rats – do not feed the birds

Observing our winged friends is fun, but please remember that our house rules prohibit the feeding of birds on our properties. Feeding birds and other wild animals is not allowed in the common yard areas of our properties or in the yards and on the balconies and windowsills of individual homes.

Feeding birds might seem like a good deed, but unfortunately, it can also attract unwanted species, such as rats. Where there is food or leftovers, there are also rats. By keeping the yard and property waste collection point tidy, you can do your part.

In addition to uninvited guests, feeding birds can cause a variety of inconveniences to the properties and residents. For example, bird droppings stain structures, yards, children’s play areas, balconies and other living areas and pose a risk of disease. For the same reason, please do not build nests or dens for hedgehogs or other wild animals in the yard.
