Joint Management Rule

The formal aspect of resident activities is defined by the Act on Joint Management of Rental Buildings (16 July 1990/649) and the supplementary Joint Management Rule.

The goal of joint management is a high-quality and well-functioning property, affordable rent, a functioning, safe and tolerant housing community and good living comfort.

The Joint Management Rule specifies the company’s resident administration bodies and their tasks.

Resident administration

The resident administration consists of a resident ombudsman, two elected representatives of residents on the board, the AHJO cooperation body, residents’ committees and district councils.

Resident community

Every resident of Espoon Asunnot has the opportunity to participate in common events and influence the comfort of living.
